Welcome to my blog Mindy Beverly Art Studio. I am an artist and a Stay at Home Mom to three beautiful children. This is a place where I will be sharing my paintings, paper piecing creations, tutorials, and creative expressions. I have a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art Painting from Arizona State University, I love vibrant colors and enjoy combining them into dramatic color combinations in all of the work that I do. I hope you enjoy and thank you for visiting!
This week I was excited to use the Adorable Coffee themed stamps from La-La Land Crafts to go along with this weeks color inspiration.
Below are the stamps and dies from La-La Land Crafts that I used to create my card.
I just love these Adorable Zodiac kids! They really can be used in so many ways, and for so many different occasions.
Skin- E11, E00, E000, RV21, R20
Costume- R59, R27, R35, R22, R20, Boo, Y00
Distress Inks for background- Mermaid Lagoon, and oxide ink in Fossilized Amber.
To create my card first I stamped the super Adorable Zodiac Cancer kid onto 110 lb. plain white card stock. Next I colored the image in with Copics and then fussy cut this cutie out. I then cut a circle for my background of the shaker circle and blended Distress Ink to create an ocean sunset. I then cut out my mats and frames along with some decorative tropical die cuts. Next I cut a decorative circle frame for the top portion of my shaker. I then added clear acetate to the top and then lined the inside with foam tape. Next I sprinkled some blue and clear sequins inside, removed the foam tape, and then attached the shaker element to my card base. To finish I added the little Cancer stamped image with foam tape, added the die cut elements, and then added some pearls for some extra shine.
I hope that you enjoy my card, and are inspired to try out your own creations with these Amazing stamps from Vilda Stamps! Thank you for stopping by and have a Wonderful day!

Hello Everyone! Today I want to share with you an Orchid Planner Insert that I created for my Traveler's Notebook as my Design Team Inspiration project for the Vilda Stamps Challenge Blog. For my project I used the Gorgeous Orchid stamp from Vilda Stamps V801 that you can find in the Vilda Stamps shop here: http://shop.textalk.se/en/article.php?id=16232&art=22915989
To make my planner insert first I stamped the Orchid onto 110 lb. plain white card stock. Next I colored the image in with Copics. I then die cut out the image and attached it to the front of my handmade insert. To finish I added a paper flower and some rhinestones. These Gorgeous stamps from Vilda Stamps really are so versatile and can be used for some many different projects. I hope that my project has inspired you to try out your own creations using these Beautiful stamps.
